productivity at it's finest

My 5 culprits of distraction: art, fashion, eating, crafting, and the ultimate time-waster... the internet. So good at finding distractions, I decided to make a blog about it! We all might as well be productive at procrastinating.

Thrifting

After a delicious lunch with some friends at the Kari House in Steveston Village we decided to go to our local thrift shop. It did not disappoint! We bought 3 pairs of shoes, a vintage "treasure" chest, 2 balls of yarn, 2 leather bags, a leather wallet, a pair of shorts, and 2 tops! Together we spent a total of $37!

We originally decided to head to the thrift store after hearing about a pair of cowboy boots that were $30... little did we know the other gems we'd find! Additionally, shoes were all 1/2 price today only (The Thrifting Gods must have been by our side). The chest was amongst a pile of ridiculously cheap furniture; some was even free. If you are lacking in furniture or moving in to a new place, I highly suggest checking out your local thrift store.

My favourite purchase would probably be these pair of black boots I got for $2.50..... WHAT?! I am still in disbelief. They are genuine italian leather, in great condition.

What thrifting gold have you found?
